"We don't know what will be on the invoice in the end."
Open-ended hour budgets turn every approval into a discussion with the management board.
Approach · First packages
With a clearly defined first package at a fixed price agreed in advance. You see how I work. Then you decide whether and how to continue.
Smaller first packages often start the next day
Sound familiar?
You do not know the consultant yet. The budget is tight. And your data is your most important asset.
Open-ended hour budgets turn every approval into a discussion with the management board.
Process data, drawings, patents: without confidentiality, nobody shows their technology.
The bottleneck is today. Long tenders cost the time you do not have.
First packages
Each one is a clearly defined package at a fixed price agreed in advance. Before you start, you know what you get and what it costs.
I check basic data, interfaces and Balance of Plant before the plant contractor raises open points as a change order.
Clearly defined package at a fixed price agreed in advance.
Pilot to first plant (DE)I walk through the plant with you. Then we work out together where the biggest levers are.
Clearly defined package at a fixed price agreed in advance.
Plant & material flow (DE)A sound basis for decisions by your management and your architects. It is not detailed design, which follows afterwards, with you or your planner.
Clearly defined package at a fixed price agreed in advance.
Production topicsI strengthen your team with manufacturing and ramp-up experience, with client protection and clearly defined work packages. Your client stays your client.
Clearly defined package at a fixed price agreed in advance.
For planning firms (DE)I bring an outside perspective to your workshops: asking questions, testing assumptions, facilitating. The analysis stays with your team.

Test rig & Balance of Plant (DE)Not sure which one fits?
You describe the situation, I suggest the right package.
Process
You decide how active to be: just information by email, a call back, or a short introduction straight away.
Enter an email address or phone number. That is all it takes.
You describe the situation, and I ask the questions your bottleneck raises.
Confidentiality first. Then a joint look at data, plans and plant.
A clearly defined package at a fixed price agreed in advance, not an open-ended hour budget.
Remotely throughout, on site when it counts, until commissioning and start of series production (SOP).
Your risk, kept small
01
We sign first, then I see documents.
02
We set this out in the NDA and the contract.
03
No open-ended hour budget. Every package has a fixed price agreed in advance.
04
Read in, think it through, prepare the site visit.
How it runs
Typical sequences as they occur in practice. They are examples, not commitments to particular dates.
Call back requested, 15 minutes on the phone the same day.
NDA signed, documents received. I read in.
Check basic data, interfaces and Balance of Plant. Site visit.
A prioritised list of open points, before the plant contractor raises them as a change order.
You describe the plant, the product and what is going wrong right now.
Confidentiality settled, layout and key figures received in advance.
Walk-through of the plant, then a workshop with your team on the main levers.
A short report on the levers and, if you wish, layout scenarios as the next step.
Your project needs manufacturing depth at short notice, and your team is at capacity.
Client protection and work packages agreed in writing. You remain your client's contract partner.
I work in your project team: coordination, workshops, production concept.
Handover of results to your team. Billed by work package.
The layout scenarios are conceptual, not detailed design. In HAZOP and FMEA I bring an external perspective, and your team owns the analysis. Explosion-protection assessments (ATEX) belong to specialist experts. I bring them in rather than pretend it is my field. And I do not replace an EPC contractor.
What you get
Support for commissioning, on site at the decisive steps and including acceptance tests at the manufacturer, follows if you want it.
Every first package is clearly defined and has a fixed price agreed in advance. You know the cost before you start, with no open-ended hour budget.
No. The first package stands on its own. You decide after the result whether and how to continue.
We sign an NDA before any data is exchanged. Your intellectual property stays with you – we set this out in the NDA and the contract.
My projects are planned so that short-notice assignments remain possible.
Let us get started
For a smaller, clearly defined first package I can often start the next day: read in, think it through, prepare the site visit. From the start you talk to the engineer who also does the work.
